This quaint depiction of holiday cheer in the 1930’s and 40’s illustrates the traditions of a simpler time by a small family whose closest, and sometimes only, neighbors were the military families of Fort Screven. cancelled for 2016: Tybee Island Tour de Lights Bike Parade

– cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew cleanup – Saturday, December 17 11th Annual Tybee Island Toure’ de Lights Bike Parade Light up your bikes, tinsel up the handrails and cruise the island for a night of holiday fun! The Tour de Lights parade will begin and end at A-J’s Dockside (1315 Chatham Avenue).   Bike line-up and decorating begins at 5 p.m. with the contest judging at 6:15 pm.  The winner will be announced at 7 pm.
