November 22 through January 1 Community of Caring Tybee Island may be a relatively small barrier island, but it sure does have a lot of people with huge hearts! Since 2011, during holiday time, various locations throughout town help collect donations for the food pantry, children’s hospital, and/or animal shelter to share in the true meaning of the season.  Share Locations where donations were accepted in 2017 were: Caldwell’s Cottage Boutique, Inferno, Justabreeze Gallery & Framing, Kelly & Company. River’s End Campground, The Sand Bar, TS Chu’s Department Store, Tybee Teeth, Tybee YMCA, and Wet Willie’s. December 2, 2017 Tybee Island Christmas Parade The holiday season is a special time of year on Tybee and this parade has become a tradition that highlights the small town charm you only find here.  The parade begins at 1:00pm from the 14th Street parking lot (behind Hotel Tybee) and travels up Tybrisa to Butler Avenue then to the Tybee Gym where children will have photo time with Santa!
